PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting the fluidized state in a nozzle for transporting molten metal by which the detection of mixing, etc., of the air into the nozzle for transporting the molten metal and the abnormal fluidized state of the molten metal in the nozzle, or in the case of providing a swirling blade, whether the swirl stream of the molten metal in the nozzle exists or not, etc., are directly judged from nozzle vibration. SOLUTION: To the nozzle vibration having periodicity, a frequency analyzing processing is applied to the vibration of the nozzle for transporting the molten metal and also, with a feature in a frequency spectral distribution obtained from the result of this processing, the judgement of the abnormal fluidized state of the molten metal in the nozzle or whether the swirl stream of the molten metal exists or not, in the case of providing the swirling blade in the nozzle is performed.
