PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary vertebra fixing apparatus which is easily operated and is capable of temporarily positioning a fixing rod. SOLUTION: The rotary vertebra fixing apparatus has a base part 10 having a U-shaped slot 12 for housing a fixing rod 30 and a holding groove 14 formed on the side wall of the U-shaped slot 12, a fixing block 20 having a rotary control terminal 26 provided on its upper surface, a through hole 28 provided on its center and a holding edge 22 to be fitted with the holding groove 14 of the base part 10, and a fastening member 29 to be engaged with the through hole 28 of the fixing block 20.
