PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher suitable for a case that a space is not enough for installing the dishwasher, which makes it possible to solve problems that a door is prevented from opening by abutting against a faucet metal fitting 83, or the like, or that operation for storing dishes in a sink into the dishwasher is difficult because of the door largely covering above the sink when the door is opened. SOLUTION: A support plate is fitted to a washing vessel integrally or by screws, and the support plate and a lower door are rotatably joined around a rotary center axis. The lower door comprises a door lower part including the rotary center axis and the door. A door upper part extends/shortens and moves perpendicularly with respect to the rotary center axis of the lower door, that is, the door upper part extends/shortens and moves radially. An extending/ shortening range of a projected shape of the door lower part is regulated by a projected shape part at the time of extending and a projected shape part at the time of shortening of the door upper part, thereby the extending/ shortening area of the lower door is established.
