PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique useful in enhancing convenience of adjustment of a cutting depth in cutting a material to be worked with a circular saw. SOLUTION: The circular saw 101 has a circular saw main body 121 where a blade 123 is provided, and a base 111. The cutting depth by a blade for the material is made adjustable by moving the main body 121 inclined to the base 111 with one end side of the body as a center. Inclinedly moving position determining means 151 and 153 for fixing the main body 121 to the base 111 in a plurality of inclinedly moving positions corresponding to a plurality of predetermined cutting depths are set.
