PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a displacing body structure for a machine tool capable of not only displacing the displacing body at high speed but also displacing the same precisely. SOLUTION: This structure is a displacement body structure 10 for relatively displacing a work and a tool of the machine tool and freely moves on an axis line against a base stand constructing a main body part of the machine tool and freely rotates around an axis perpendicular to the axis line mentioned above, and is provided with a displacement body 20 supporting one of the work and the tool T and at least two operation rods 30 pivotally supported by the displacement body 20 and moving and rotating the displacement body 20 against the base stand by moving the pivotally supporting part.
