SLIDE DRIVER FOR SERVO PRESS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide driver of a servo press which can suppress upsizing over the entire part of the press and provides excellent maintenance characteristics even when a press capacity is made higher. SOLUTION: The servo press drives a driven side pulley 338 disposed at a screw shaft 331 by means of two units of servo motors 35 of a small capacity. Accordingly, the capacity for one unit of a servo motor having a large capacity can be obtained by two units of the servo motors 35. At this time, the servo motors 35 of the small capacity are sufficiently small in height dimensions and therefore the motor capacity can be made higher without increasing dimensions at all and eventually the larger capacity of the servo press can be attained if the servo motors 35 of such a small capacity are installed side by side. Since the servo motors 35 of the small capacity have higher versatility, the motors are easily available and the easy maintenance thereof is possible. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
