PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting structure of a wire which can surely prevent a wire connecting part from being slacked and to provide a connecting structure of a curving operation wire of an endoscope. SOLUTION: A nut member 6 coupled to a distal end of the curving operation wire 2 is engaged to be connected with a thread member 12 fixed to a distal end of a curved wire 4. The member 12 includes a noncircular part 14 including a noncircular cross-sectional shape on an outer surface. After connection, the connecting part is coated with a heat shrinkable tube 20, the tube 20 is then heated to be shrunk. The tube 20 is brought into close contact with the outer peripheries of the member 6 and the member 12 to cover the member 6 and the member 12, and shrunk along a profile of the part 14. Thus, the member 12 can be stopped to be rotated around an axis of the wire, and the connecting part is prevented from being slacked at its clamping. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
