PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooker for heating a fish or a meat from under thereof for cooking without turning the fish or the meat to confirm roasting condition and without generating a scorch as a cause of unpleasant feeling. SOLUTION: This cooker provided with a heating means for heating a material to be heated from under thereof is also provided with a reading means for reading a back surface image of the material to be heated, a turning means for turning a unit formed by connecting the heating means and the reading means to each other in the horizontal direction, a cleaning means for eliminating dirty adhered to a reflected light taking part of the reading means, and a display means for displaying the read image in a display unit.
