<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid guide shaft which is easy to handle and dissolves rapidly after anastomosis. <P>SOLUTION: The guide shaft 10 consists of a tubular body 11 and a tubular branch portion 12 branched to a Tee shape from the middle of the body 11. A cavity 12a of the branch portion 12 is communicatively connected to the cavity 11a of the body 11. The guide shaft 10 is composed of saccharides as main materials and is made of a gelatinized substance decomposed and absorbed into an organism by dissolving in a physiological saline at ≥30°C. An annular groove 14 is formed at the circumference of a root 13 of the branch portion 12.
