<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric rice cooker for germinating and cooking rice, while remarkably shorting the germination time, without generating rotten odor and foul smell. <P>SOLUTION: In this electronic rice cooker for heating unpolished rice and water put in a pan with a heating means to germinate the rice and for cooking the rice to obtain the germinated unpolished rice, temperature when germinating is maintained near 40 degree higher than 38 degree, and this temperature is maintained for a certain time, about 6 hours, to germinate the rice. Thereafter, the rice is cooked to obtain the germinated unpolished rice without requiring a copper plate used in a current one to prevent the generation of rotten odor and foul smell. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
