PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wooden filler capable of prolonging the life of a pillow regarding its aromatic performance. SOLUTION: A wooden pillow material is obtained by polishing the surfaces of wood grains resulting from the shredding of wood, then applying a laser beam B to the polished wood grains C, forming linear grooves V as the marks of the application through friction, and impregnating the grains with an aromatic solution. The linear grooves V as the marks of the application are deeper than surface roughness and contain the aromatic solution in an amount sufficient to secure appropriate contents and prolong the life of a wooden pillow regarding its aromatic performance.
