PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rod body of an interline rod from which water apt to be gathered at the inside of the rod body, can easily be dischargeable. SOLUTION: This middle rod 3 is a tapered tubular member, and has a tubular main body 31 and fishing line-supporting projections 32 provided on the inner circumferential surface of the main body 31. The fishing line-supporting projections 32 are formed continuously as spiral state in axial direction on the inner circumferential surface of the main body part 31, and formed as one unit with the main body part 31.
