PURPOSE:To define all of the actions for processing and original, to make a device easy to be used for a user and to prevent a misoperation and a malfunction by displaying the contents of the actions performed by an additional device while a device main body waits for the actions or when it completes the actions. CONSTITUTION:When a clear/stop key 604 is depressed in the midst of copying actions, the main body is stopped to stop the actions. When copying is completed, the completion of copying is displayed on a display 701. When a stapling mode is judged, a stapling action is started and the display of stapling or the display of stopping stapling by depressing the clear/stop key is performed. When the key 604 is depressed in the midst of stapling action, a stapling sorter is controlled so that it stops the action, and when stapling is completed, the completion of stapling is displayed. By displaying the action of stapling on the main body, the processing actions can be defined and the user's misoperation and malfunction can be prevented. |
