PURPOSE:To make an oil separator element easily replaceable by forming a bypass air passage, passing through the oil separator element and leading to control equipment such as a valving means or the like, in a cover of the element. CONSTITUTION:An oil separator shell cover 10 has a capping function for an oil separator shell 9 and also such a function as supporting and fixing an oil separator element 8, while it passes through the oil separator element 8, and there is provided with a bypass air passage 20 or a passage for compressed air leading to a piping system fitted with control equipment such as a pressure regulating valve 11 and a check valve 12 or the like. A mounting bolt 18 clamping the oil separator shell cover 10 is removed by a tool whereby a user can replace the oil separator element 8 in an easy manner. |
