<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an inkjet recording material, in which no problem of surface defects such as cracks develops, which is highly glossy and has high ink absorbency and especially favorable light resistance and gas resistance of images. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the inkjet recording material, in which an ink accepting layer is provided by coating and drying an ink accepting layer coating liquid on a support, the ink accepting layer coating liquid has thickening properties with time and is passed through a filtering device so as to realize the substitution coefficient of the coating liquid of 0.8 or higher just before coating under the provision that the substitution coefficient of the filtering device is a ratio of the volume of liquid A discharged from the filtering device when the volume of liquid B corresponding to the total charging volume of the filtering device is charged in the filtering device charged with the liquid A to the total charging volume. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
