PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of reboiling phenomenon. SOLUTION: The recording head for ejecting an ink drop utilizing a bubble formed by heating ink comprises an opening 14 for ejecting an ink drop, a bubbling chamber 16 formed continuously to the ejection opening 14 and being filled with ink, a heater 13 supported on the inner wall face of the bubbling chamber 16 while being spaced apart on the opposite sides, and a part 17 for supporting the heater 13. After ink is bubbled by means of the heater 13 and ejected, heat is dissipated from the heater 13 to the supporting part 17 side thus lowering the surface temperature of the heater 13 to the bubbling point or below at the time of breaking the bubble.
