PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink jet recording head for ejecting liquid by bubbling with heat generated from a heat generating means in which the heat generating means is prevented from having an excessively high temperature by controlling unnecessary heat generation of the heat generating means. SOLUTION: The heat generating means comprises a heating resistor, especially a PTC thermistor heater, having a positive temperature coefficient of resistance where the resistance R increases abruptly when a specified temperature T0 is exceeded.
