METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING FIBROUS BOARD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a fibrous board by which the loss of an adhesive can be reduced and the strength and the water resistance of the fibrous board can be increased. SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing the fibrous board comprises steps to supply an adhesive (6) to a fibrous mat (1) composed of an aggregate of vegetable fibers (5) from an adhesive supply aperture (3), and mold the fibrous mat (1) to which the adhesive (6) is supplied under heat and pressure into the fibrous board. The adhesive (6) is supplied to the fibrous mat (1) in such a state that the adhesive supply aperture (3) is kept in contact with the fibrous mat (1). COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
