PURPOSE:To obtain a high-quality hidraulic inorganic board with high efficiency by adding a defoaming agent to a slurry of a cement based matrix material and fiber reinforcing agent and forming a board therefrom. CONSTITUTION:A cement based matrix material and a fiber reinforcing material consisting of pulp and/or asbestos are formed into a board and produce a hydraulic inorganic board. In the process, a defoaming agent is added to a slurry of the cement based matrix and fiber reinforcing material. Portland cement, portland cement granulated blast furnace slag, portland cement-fly ash or portland cement-granulated blast furnace slag-fly ash are used as a suitable cement matrix material. A defoaming agent normally used in a paper sheet forming process, such as wax emulsion based defoaming agent, protonic defoaming agent or silicone emulsion based defoaming agent, etc., can be used as the defoaming agent. |
