PURPOSE: An Internet phone building a digital signal processing chip connected to a USB(Universal Serial Bus) therein is provided to be connected with the use of the USB, and to activate Internet communication by using a voice-only DSP chip, thereby supplying a more convenient and clear voice call. CONSTITUTION: A PC is connected to the Internet. A USB jack(1) connects an Internet-based voice call terminal therewith. A USB interface(2) connects the USB jack(1) therewith. A USB-only microprocessor processes a keypad and a compressed voice for an additional service. A voice-only DSP chip(4) performs voice compression and DTMF sensing processes. An interface(9) connects a call to implement a set top box model Internet phone terminal, and detects a PSTN ring. The keypad implements the Internet phone terminal, and a handset transmits the voice.
