<p>PURPOSE: To provide an attachment for optimum fitting to the shape of a patient's tooth by installing a cylindrical socket at a distance from a prismatic post so as to be parallel to the prismatic post and fixing the connecting elements to the cylindrical socket of the prismatic post. CONSTITUTION: A prismatic post 1 fixed to the crown has a supporting arm 2 with a rectangle cross section at its base. At the end of the supperting arm, a cylindrical socket 3 is installed at a distance from a prismatic post 1 and in parallel thereto. For example, in the case of mounting a removal bridge, a flexible cylindrical sleeve 19 is attached to the cylindrical socket 3, and a cylindrical bush 9 and its screw 10 are inserted into the cylindrical socket 3. In the cylindrical sleeve 19, a frustum like end 7 with a hole 8 in the axial direction passing through is installed. An inner diameter of the sleeve 19 is equal to the outer diameter of the cylindrical socket 3 of a basic element. The sleeve 19 is pushed into the surrounding of the cylindrical socket 3.</p> |
