PURPOSE: To guarantee a sure packing operation and reduce the force acting to a piston rod by providing a taper portion cooperating with the packing onto a piston rod and providing a radially bendable support ring on this packing. CONSTITUTION: One inner space 8 filled by a pressure gas is provided in a tubular casing 1 whose one end 2 is closed. A piston rod 4 has a taper portion 23 cooperating with a packing 15 at the position pushed therein. The packing 15 is formed bendably radially and provides one support ring 13 acting axially and bendable radially. Thus, the sure packing operation is guaranteed and the pushing out force acting to the piston rod can be reduced. |
