FIELD: rotors for treatment of liquids, such as molten metal by adding gas and/or material in form of particles. SUBSTANCE: proposed rotor has hollow body 1 of revolution with holes 5, 9 and 10 in its base and in side wall; said body is mounted on shaft and is set in rotation by means of drive mechanism; it may be raised from liquid and immersed in it. Hollow body of revolution is provided with at least one partition and with at least one hollow body which is rotatably symmetrical for forming one or several circular cavities 8 and central cavity 7; gas and/or material in form of particles is fed to circular cavities 8 and central cavity 7 through passages 3 and/or holes 11 found in respective partition (partitions) or in body (bodies).
