The power-driven clutch control system (10) has an electric motor (40) with a coupling (48) driving a hollow spindle (50). The spindle rotates on bearings (52,54) in each end of a housing (42). The hollow spindle has a female thread engaging a male thread (56) on a central non-rotating rod (60). The rod has a blind bore with a cavity for a nipple (64) on the end of a cable (30). The other end of the cable has a nipple (32) attached to a sector (34) which can rotate when the rod pulls on the cable. The cable passes through a seal (72) and a guide cone (70).
