<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recovery toner classifier capable of efficiently removing foreign objects such as paper powder from a recovery toner recovered by a cleaner and making a heap of toners in the recovery toner into toners for recycle by exactly crushing it. <P>SOLUTION: A recovery toner classifier 1 includes a rotatable cylindrical- shaped filter 9 and a fur brush 3 stored in the filter and rotatably driven. A screw conveyer 4 is provided on a side of an inlet of the filter 9 for the recovery toner by providing a screw blade 13 on a rotation shaft 12 of the fur brush. A brush 3a of the fur brush is radially and spirally provided on the rotation shaft 12 with proper pitch. A tip portion of the brush 3a is press-contacted with a mesh of the filter 9. The cylindrical-shaped filter and the fur brush are rotated in mutually reverse directions. The recovery toner conveyed in the filter 9 by the screw conveyer 4 is classified while being fed by the spirally provided brush 3a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
