摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated film which has proper adhesion quality to a magnetic recording layer and backcoat layer, and suitable for a base film of a magnetic recording medium use in a short-wavelength region, where recording wavelength are 0.4 micrometers or smaller. SOLUTION: This film comprises a polyester film which substantially does not contain inert particles, a binder resin provided on both sides, and an coating layer containing the inert particles and a siloxane copolymerized acrylic resin. A coating layer A on one side has inert particles of means particle diameters of 10-20 nm, in the range of protrusion frequency from 7.0×10<SP>6</SP>to 2.0×10<SP>7</SP>protrusions/mm<SP>2</SP>, and contains a siloxane copolymerized acrylic resin from 3 to 20 wt.% by weight. A coating layer B on the other side contains a siloxane copolymerized acrylic resin from one to 30 wt.%. Surface roughness (Ra) of the coating layer A is in the range of 0.8 to 1.3 nm, and surface roughness (Ra) of the coating layer B is in the range of 6.0 to 15.0 nm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
