PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus, image processing apparatus, image processing method and image information classification service which can re trieve and classify with high precision by recording information effective for the retrieval and classification in conjunction with image data thereby effectively conducting data processing such as retrieval and browsing. SOLUTION: When a target image is analyzed, by using image data taken just before the target image, the background motion of the target image is canceled and areas where the image moves are extracted for image analysis. The obtained information is linked to the image and then recorded. In addition, information on the imaging such as an imaging mode is also recorded together with the image which can be used for image retrieval. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
