PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple bean dryer suitable for a bean grower to process gathered beans in a small scale by oneself, superior in drying efficiency, capable of drying even the beans in the pods, and capable of simultaneously removing the pods of the beans at drying time. SOLUTION: This bean dryer has at least a drying object housing rotary drum 20 for arranging a large number of ventilation slits 23 in an outer shell, an atmospheric box 10 for arranging the rotary drum 20 inside so that a rotary shaft becomes the horizontal direction, a hot air means 30 for blowing off dry hot air from below the rotary drum 20 in the atmospheric box 10, and a ventilation adjusting cover 40 arranged in a ceiling part 11 of the atmospheric box 10.
