摘要 PURPOSE: A method for detecting transmit power in a base station is provided to detect a reliable transmit power value by using the upper and lower 25 percent power values to calculate the mean value in case that more than appointed numbers of 25 percent values get out of the top/bottom limits consecutively. CONSTITUTION: A CPU in the PACA(Power Adjust Control Assembly) of a base station defines the number of samples(S101), and measures temperature(S102). A path selection switch selects a channel, passes a signal, mixes it with a signal outputted from a PLL, and makes an intermediate frequency(S103). The intermediate frequency is converted into a digital value through an A/D converter(S104). An FPGA squares the digital voltage value and obtains a power value(S105). The power value is inputted to the CPU. In this manner, the CPU receives power values as much as the preset number(S106). The CPU arrays the received power values in the order of their magnitude(S107) and settles the top and bottom limits(S108). Then the CPU stores the upper 25 percent power values and the lower 25 percent power values(S109), and judges whether an appointed quantity gets out of the top or bottom limit consecutively(S110). If the appointed quantity gets out of the top or bottom limit, the CPU counts the quantity and stores the mean value(S112). Then the CPU calculates the mean power value using the mean of middle 50 percents of power values among all the sample power values, the stored mean value, and the number of samples(S113) and stores it(S114).
