BENZOYLUREA COMPOUND-ALBUMIN COMPLEX

NEW MATERIAL:A complex composed from albumin and a benzoylurea compound of the formula (X is halogen or nitro; Y is H, halogen, nitro or trifluoromethyl; Z1 is halogen or trifluoromethyl; Z2 is H or halogen; A is CH or N). USE:A carcinostatic agent having excellent stability and capable of being intravenously administered. PREPARATION:For example, human serum albumin is added to a 5% glacial acetic acid-isooctane solution and allowed to stand at 0 deg.C for >=6hr, followed by removing the extracted solution. The obtained human serum albumin is dissolved in pure water and dialyzed with pure water to give the fatty acid-free human serum albumin. The purified albumin is dissolved in a phosphoric acid buffer solution having a pH of 7.4 and mixed with the dimethyl sulfoxide solution of a benzolurea compound of the formula, followed by allowing to stand 4 deg.C for >=6hr and by dialyzing to remove the dimethyl sulfoxide to provide the complex.
