PURPOSE:To prevent the dewing around a sealed terminal and provide a safety sealed type compressor causing no breakage by providing a baffle plate for breaking the flow of a refrigerant running through an inlet pipe to the sealed terminal within a closed vessel. CONSTITUTION:A closed vessel 11 having a compression element and an electric element received therein is provided with an inlet pipe 12 for introducing a refrigerant from the outside into closed sealed vessel 11, a sealed terminal 9 for supplying an electric power to the electric element from an external power source, and a baffle plate for breaking the flow of the refrigerant running through the inlet pipe 12 to the sealed terminal 9. The baffle plate 16 prevents the sucked refrigerant gas from running into the sealed terminal 9. Hence, the dewing to the sealed terminal 9 is prevented, and the compressor breakage due to leak is avoided. |
