PURPOSE:To improve environmental resistance, durability, etc., and to achieve elevation of reliability by a method wherein an uneven part is formed on a connection surface of a plate member, to which ink discharge ports are established, to a head body. CONSTITUTION:A recording head 30 has an orifice plate 31 which is a connection surface to a head body 32 and of which to the connection surface 31a an uneven grooved part is formed. A plurality of discharge ports 33 for discharging ink are established on this orifice plate 31, and ink is so discharged as to record a required image following an image signal to be sent from a wiring board with which a recording signal is transmitted to the recording head. By forming thus the grooved part 31b on one part of the connection surface of the orifice plate 31, this grooved part 31b is slightly elastically deformed, and stress to be generated by a difference in thermal expansion coefficient when an adhesive is shrinked by curing and between respective components is released thereby. Further, the adhesive between the orifice plate 31 and the head body 32 can be prevented from flowing into the discharge port or the like. |
