PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a mounting workability for installing a gasket in an annular groove in a sealing material for sealing a cover member to a mating member. SOLUTION: This gasket 3 is installed between the cover member 1 and a block member 2. A rough surface is mapped on the side surface of the gasket 3 by a metal mold to form a satin finished surface part 4.
