PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust unit for a vehicle capable of reducing a pressure level in a tube before an exhaust pulsation waveform generated by an engine changes into a shock wave and reducing muffled noise at starting. SOLUTION: In the exhaust unit for the vehicle in which a converter, a sub muffler and a main muffler of a resonance type are sequentially arranged in an exhaust pipe connected to an exhaust manifold of an engine from an exhaust manifold side toward an exhaust emission side, the sub-muffler is provided with a sound absorbing chamber at an upstream, and integrally and continuously installed at the downstream of the converter via the sound absorbing chamber.
