METHOD FOR PROVIDING TRAFFIC INFORMATION USING MOBILE TERMINAL

PURPOSE: A method for providing traffic information using a mobile terminal is provided so that a mobile terminal can download necessary information of a desired region, convert it into a voice signal, and output it. CONSTITUTION: A server in a traffic information system receives and stores the present location and destination information of a user(210). The server receives images for the traffic conditions from the present location to the destination(220), and searches for the most rapid route to the destination(230). In order to transmit the most rapid route to the user's mobile terminal, the server converts it into a data format so suitable as to provide to the user as voice(240). The server transmits the data format to the user's mobile terminal(250).
