<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content distributing method, data registering method, contents distributing system, data registering system, server, program, and recording medium, wherein a user can register a desired service correctly. <P>SOLUTION: A mobile station 1 transmits authentication information issued from a management server 5 and own identification information uniquely distinguished from others to a data server 4. A data server 4 transmits the received authentication information and the received identification information, and contents attribute information uniquely indicative of contents to be provided to the mobile station 5 to the management server 5. The management server 5 performs its authenticating operation on the basis of the authentication information from the received information. When the authentication is satisfied, the management server writes the contents attribute information in a memory area formed as associated with the identification information. The management server 5 starts providing of charging information to a charging server 6.
