<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parallel operation method for uninterruptible power units, which also enables the parallel nonreduntant operation of uninterruptible power units having built-in bypass circuits to be used in a single unit system, without adding a common circuit. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of parallel operation of uninterruptible power units for operating, in parallel, a plurality of uninterruptible power units having the two operation modes of a bypass power supply mode where bypass power is supplied via an AC switch when an inverter stops and an inverter power supply mode where power supply is performed, with the AC switch open, by the inverter; and the off command of the AC switch is made, based on the detection of agreement of the patterns of a bypass power supply signal, which becomes active when it is in bypass power supply state and a ready signal which becomes active, when it is ready in the state of power supply, separately for each uninterruptible power unit 1 and 2 which are operated in parallel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
