PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To search and display an object by designating an attribute, data and the like of the object in an image by forming a computer graphic image of the object or the like and designating the object. SOLUTION: Images of surroundings picked up by actually traveling a road to be searched or the like are stored and recorded in an image data base section 3 as a data base. Various objects in the images of the surroundings are changed into computer graphic images as parts, and the computer graphic images are stored and recorded in a computer graphic data base section 7 as a computer graphic data base. Attribute data of the objects such as names, positions, attributes is stored in an object attribute data base section 8. The object displayed on the computer, graphic image or the image of the surroundings and the attribute data in the data base 8 are mutually searched by designating a searching condition, and a result of the search is displayed.
