PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display panel in which luminescent point failure which is generated in the dummy area of a liquid crystal display panel is prevented and the manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display panel is constituted by including first and second substrates 121, 131 which are stuck to each other by being opposed to each other while being separated at a prescribed interval, an image display part 113 and a dummy area 116 which are defined on the first and second substrates 121, 131 which are stuck to each other, respective conductive wirings (GL1 to GLm, DL1 to DLn) which are patterned so as to be separated on the upper part of the first substrate 121 of the dummy area 116 and respective dummy wirings (SL11 to SL1p, SL21 to SL2q) which are patterned on areas separated from the respective conductive wirings.
