PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft dropout preventing structure with reduced number of parts, simplified assembly process, and requiring no special jig in assembly. SOLUTION: A belt clip, wherein a shaft 14 is inserted in shaft insertion parts 13a, 18a of a base member 10 and a plate member 11 and is supported so as to open and close freely, includes a knurling part 20 having a larger diameter than the shaft 14 by plastic deformation on one end part of the shaft 14. Furthermore, a counterbore 19 for fitting the knurling part 20 of the shaft 14 is provided on the shaft insertion part 18a of the plate member 11 on an inner side, and the shaft 14 is pressed so as to fit the knurling part 20 in the counterbore 19. Since the knurling part 20 has the larger diameter than insertion holes 15, 17, a dropout of the shaft can be prevented. With this structure, the number of parts is reduced, the assembly process is simplified, and the special jig is not necessary in the assembly. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
