<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of easily removing a jammed paper sheet by removing a frame from an opening part. <P>SOLUTION: The upper surface and the front surface of an apparatus case, which are adjacent to each other, are constituted of covers 70 and 80 which can be opened/closed respectively, and an engaging/disengaging part J consisting of the hole 73 of the cover 70 and the projection 82 of the cover 80 is provided at the bonded part J of the covers 70 and 80 so as to support the cover 80 by the cover 70, and then the frame along the bonded part J is removed inside the apparatus at the bonded part J.
