SUBSTANCE: device that can be used as means for automatic channel signal reception in multichannel communication systems and also for detecting voice signals in telephone communication channels has communication channel matching unit, band filter, four line detectors, seven integrating sections, four threshold elements, three ratio computing units, subtracter, time delay unit, two multipliers, AND gate, display unit, and control timer. Proposed device depends for its operation on computation of a number of mathematical statistics that function as flags in distinguishing information voice signal from channel noise and parasitic voice signals. Used as mathematical statistics are signal power estimates in information frequency band, input signal energy distribution in frequency band, irregularity of envelope of input signal filtered off in band filter, and ordinate value of autocorrelation function at fixed time delay level.
