In a spur-wheel gear, an external gear ring is rigidly connected to the component to be driven. The external gear ring and the component to be driven are supported on a supporting pedestal via a first self-aligning bearing situated in the centre of the external gear ring. A pinion which meshes with the external gear ring and is coupled to a toothed-clutch shaft is supported on the supporting pedestal via a second self-aligning bearing situated in the centre of the pinion. The second self-aligning bearing is fixed on a bearing journal which rests in the supporting pedestal. Provided inside the hollow pinion is a third self-aligning bearing, this being dimensioned in such a way that, in the event of a tilting movement of the pinion, it can find support against a shoulder of the bearing journal, the tilting angle of the pinion being limited to about 1@, preferably to less than 0.6@. |
