Characters are printed on resin key tops, using a silk screen or pad process, using an ink comprising a coloring agent added to a multifunctional acrylic UV light curable paint. The printed ink layers are 5-20 microns thick and the printed surfaces are preheated before irrdiating with UV light. Pref. a noncrystalline resin is in printing with fast set ink. The method does not need drying at high temp.; thus it is possible to print after setting up keyboard.
