METHOD, DEVICE, PROGRAM, AND RECORDING MEDIUM FOR IMAGE SCENE PREDICTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a prediction pattern having high precision from image information including a pattern in which shapes and textures change intricately which cannot be approximated using a rigid body model.

SOLUTION: Using various sensors, measurement instruments, and the Web as information sources, time-series image data is input by an image input part 1 and accumulated in an image accumulation part 2. A parameter estimation part 3 estimates a speed component which is a parameter required in an advection term based on a so-called optical flow procedure only using the current and part consecutive image data. A prediction calculating part 4 predicts changes in the pattern of the image up to the necessary image future and the output part 5 outputs the predicted image.
