PURPOSE:To attain radio call with the telephone number of a fixed telephone set of an opposite party by sending the telephone number of an incoming telephone set and a telephone number of a caller to a radio transmission equipment at the arrival of a call to a telephone set with absence indication to a telephone exchange. CONSTITUTION:An incoming telephone set 1 prior to its absence sets absence registration to an incoming exchange 3. The incoming exchange 3 writes a telephone number of a registration party onto a table for absence registration provided on a memory 9 for absence registration. When an outgoing telephone set 6 makes outgoing connection to the incoming telephone set 1, a controller 8 references the absence registration table, does not apply conventional incoming connection but applies radio calling. The controller 8 sends an outgoing telephone number ID 2 to a radio call transmitter 4 together with a call signal ID 1. Thus, a pager 2 is called by using a predetermined radio frequency to send the information of the ID 2 according to a prescribed code format and signal system. |
