PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield connector realizing a small size and a cost reduction. SOLUTION: A male shield shell is divided to a first shield shell 23 and a second shield shell 24. The first shield shell 23 is connected to one input terminal of a comparator 43 through a first shield tab 25 and is connected to a power source 41 through a pull up resistance R1 of 5 [kΩ] branched from therebetween. The second male side shield shell 24 is grounded to a casing GND 7 through a second shield tab 26. A reference potential 44 is connected to the other input terminal of the comparator 43 and is grounded to the casing GND 7. The comparator 43 compares a potential inputted from one input terminal with the reference potential inputted from one input terminal with the reference potential 44 connected to the other input terminal and carries out binarization of fitting/unfitting. The two male shield shells 23, 24 are connected by a female shield shell 33 of a female connector connected to a shield wire 6. Thereby, complete fitting of the shield connector is detected.
