PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a supersonic combustion mode, to improve selective control characteristics of the supersonic combustion mode and a subsonic combustion mode, to avoid the non-starting of an inlet, and to improve mixed combustion performance in parallel injection and in an injection mode while suppressing the peeling of a boundary layer on a large scale. SOLUTION: In an engine using a fuel injection strut of a type introducing a longitudinal vortex or an oblique vortex, fuel injection by the fuel injection strut and mixed combustion in a main flow are properly controlled. The Mach number is controlled by gradually compressing a flow between a combustion area and the wall face of the combustor, and by this, the peeling resistance control of the boundary layer of the combustor wall face and a peeling scale and the position of the boundary layer of the combustor wall face are controlled.
