PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin monomer capable of forming a dielectric film suitable for an electronic part. SOLUTION: This thioether derivative is expressed by following chemical formula (1). By using the thioether derivative as the resin monomer, the dielectric film suitable for the electronic part can be formed. By forming the dielectric film by using the thioether derivative and using it as the electronic part, the electronic part having excellent characteristics under a high humidity and high temperature is obtained. The thioether derivative is especially useful e.g. for a condenser, coil, resister, capacitative battery, etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
