PURPOSE: Provided is a method for manufacturing perilla leaf-brown laver which has characteristic flavor and mouth feeling of the perilla leaf, and helps intake of omega-3 unsaturated fatty acid and nutrition to help cardio-vascular system. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing perilla leaf-laver is characterized by using the perilla leaf processed by the steps of: removing the stalk and stem of a perilla leaf; dipping the perilla leaf in salt water for 2-3 hours; removing salt by performing dilution 3-4 times with purified water and dewatering it to moisture content of 15% or less; blanching the perilla leaf with steam of 60-85 deg.C; fixing colorings, followed by quick freezing and drying; and pulverizing the perilla leaf.
